Measure your lung health with the Austrian Lung Union’s lung function test!

500,000 Austrians suffer from asthma or allergic asthma. Yet asthma is a condition that responds well to treatment, and an early diagnosis using a lung function test and allergy test is beneficial for many sufferers. Lung conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or pulmonary fibrosis also require a lung function test to be correctly diagnosed.

The earlier the diagnosis is made, the better.

However, smoking, second-hand smoke, vaping, e-cigarettes and the like, as well as environmental factors such as pollen and particulate matter, pose major challenges for our lungs. Furthermore, exercise and sport are often neglected.

All visitors are therefore warmly invited to find out more about lung health and prevention on 25 April 2026 and to test their own lung fitness on the spot – with the lung function test provided by the Austrian Lung Union.
