‘Biker Girls on the Road’ at Westfield Shopping City Süd

On 26 September, the Water Plaza at Westfield Shopping City Süd will be all about female empowerment, motorcycling culture and hands-on technology. Under the motto ‘Just give it a go instead of just watching’, you can look forward to a varied day featuring exciting workshops, inspiring personalities and interactive experiences centred on the theme of women in motorsport.

The event is organised by Daniela Bara, founder of Bara Girls and initiator of the Austria-wide “Workshops just for Biker Girls”. Together with numerous partners, she’ll be showcasing just how diverse the world of motorcycling is – open to anyone who wants to discover something new, because technology knows no gender. The event invites you to try new things, ask questions and get to know the world of motorcycling in a relaxed atmosphere, true to the motto “Women don’t need an invitation to the world of motorcycling, but rather the space to discover it for themselves”.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

From 12 noon, there’ll be exciting workshops and expert talks. Learn how to spot worn parts on a motorbike, discover different motorbike models, pick up tips on riding technique and safety, or find out from the Red Cross what’s important when it comes to first aid following motorbike accidents. The programme also includes beauty tips from MAC Cosmetics and insights into action cameras and motorbike equipment from DJI.

From 12 noon, you can also look forward to inspiring interviews with experts and guests from the motorcycling industry, including representatives from Motorradcenter Wien, Ducati Austria, DeusMoto, the Association of Austrian Two-Wheeler Importers, as well as passionate female motorcyclists who will share their experiences and stories. Look forward to exciting talks on topics such as how to respond correctly in the event of a motorbike accident and the benefits of road safety training, and let yourself be inspired by the passion of Biker Girls and professional female riders.
