Badner Bahn: Service restrictions during the summer holidays 🚧

From 4 July to 6 September 2026, there will be service restrictions on the Badner Bahn due to modernisation works. During this period, the Badner Bahn will not run between Wien Oper and Inzersdorf Lokalbahn in Vienna.

Westfield Shopping City Süd will nevertheless remain easily accessible: from Inzersdorf Lokalbahn, the Badner Bahn will continue as usual towards SCS and Baden. Travelling to Westfield Shopping City Süd from Baden is possible without any restrictions.

 

Bus route 207 – Running more frequently for you!

Alternatively, from the U6 Siebenhirten station, bus 207 runs directly to SCS, and your Westfield Club membership serves as your ticket. Find out more here.

Whilst construction work is underway on the Badner Bahn, we have further expanded the bus service for you in cooperation with NÖVAG & IKEA: During this period, bus route 207 runs every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes as before, serving all SCS stops as well as the stops between Siebenhirten and the SCS.

The enhanced timetable for route 207 applies at the following times:

  • Monday to Friday: 12 noon to 6 pm
  • Saturday: 9 am to 6 pm

Lime e-scooters – a flexible and relaxed way to get to SCS!

You can also travel very conveniently by e-scooter from the Badner Bahn station or from Siebenhirten to us, as there are four Lime e-scooter stations available around Westfield Shopping City Süd. You can find the locations here.

Alternative public transport connections during the construction work

Alternatively, here’s how to get from Vienna Opera House to the Badner Bahn towards SCS or Baden:

  • From Karlsplatz, take the U4 to Längenfeldgasse, then the U6 to Alterlaa, and continue on the 66A or 67B to the Purkytgasse / Inzersdorf Lokalbahn stop.
  • From Karlsplatz, take the U1 to Reumannplatz, then the 66A to the Purkytgasse / Inzersdorf Lokalbahn stop.
